Joshua Joubert

Ph.D. student, Ocean Engineering. Josh’s research interests lie in engineering-with-nature solutions to mitigate coastal sedimentation, erosion, and flooding issues. Using in-situ and vessel-based field data collection techniques, Josh has been investigating causes of excessive sedimentation in shallow-bay systems. This research involves detailed analysis of field data recorded by acoustic, optical, mechanical, and piezoelectric sensors to determine wave, current, and sediment dynamics.
