Congratulations to Aaron Lawrence (M.Sc. student in Ocean Engineering) for receiving the Best Student Paper Award at the World Dredging Congress & Exposition (WODCON) in San Diego, California (June 23 – 27, 2025). The title of his paper is:
“Sediment resuspension and transport by vessel propeller wash”, in which he analyzed an extensive field data set on prop wash produced by deep-draft vessels collected in the Houston Ship Channel with a vessel-mounted ADCP system.
