Coastal Engineering Lab

Texas A&M University College of Engineering

Sadmina Razzaque

Ph.D. student, Ocean Engineering. Sadmina’s research focus is on coastal and estuarine hydrodynamics. Her work is centered around better understanding and modeling sediment transport processes in Texas nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico. She is investigating hydrodynamic drivers of seasonal variability in the cross-shore distribution of alongshore sediment transport patterns comparing numerical model simulations with detailed in-situ measurements. Modeled processes include tidal flows, wave action, and storm events. Results are intended to help improve nearshore sediment budget computations and refine our understanding of nearshore dynamics along the Texas coast. Back to Current CEL Team …
