Muhammad Haekal

M.Sc. student, Ocean Engineering. Muhammad specializes in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling for dredging applications. Using ANSYS Fluent, his research focuses on analyzing in-line slurry flow sediment extraction from dredging pipelines to optimize the beneficial use of dredged material (BUDM). By exploring custom pipeline geometries and flow conditions, his research aims to develop efficient, real-time sediment segregation techniques, reducing the need for costly post-processing of dredged sediment to separate size fractions. This study aims to contribute to improving dredging efficiency and sustainability by refining sediment handling and size fraction segregation methods. Back to Current CEL Team …
