Jaclynn Turnbaugh

Ph.D. Student, Ocean Engineering. Jaclynn’s Ph.D. studies are focused on coastal flood risk reduction using natural and nature-based features. She is particularly interested in the application of microbially induced calcium carbonate precipitation (MICP) to sediment features in nearshore, beach, and dune systems, as well as coastal structures, in an effort to increase resistance against erosion from wave and current forcing.
